DOING IT CHICAGO STYLE

Gusano’s Chicago-Style Pizzeria began in July, 2004, in Little Rock, Arkansas. It was founded by our Company President, Ben Biesenthal, who grew up in Chicago and later moved to Arkansas to attend the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Though he loved his time there, he constantly missed the deep-dish pizza that he’d grown up with.  After graduating, he created the recipes and began developing Gusano’s Chicago-Style Pizzeria, as a way to bring the pizza of his childhood to his new home. Ben believed in his concept, and wasn’t afraid to put in some hard work to make it successful. He worked in the restaurant, doing everything from cooking to bartending and bussing tables in order to make the store successful. Within a few short years, he and his partners were able to make each store flourish. Now, Gusano’s has seven locations spanning four States.

If you’ve been searching for the best Chicago-style pizza, outside of the windy city, of course, you have found it. Our authentic Chicago-style pizza has all the flavors you’ve been craving: buttery-flaky crust, sweet-tangy tomato sauce, ooey-gooey mozzarella cheese, and perfectly seasoned, authentic Italian meats. Every pizza is handmade from scratch and served to your specifications. And our menu doesn’t stop there. We have a variety of sandwiches (such as our Italian Beef,) salads (like our Buffalo Chicken Salad,) and appetizers (such as our signature pizza dip.)

We are also pleased to have a large following among families of all ages. For the children we feature a kids menu and a variety of video games. All of our stores are smoke free as well.
