Gusano’s Chicago-Style Pizzeria began in July, 2004, in Little Rock, Arkansas. It was the idea of Ben Biesenthal, President and founder of Gusano’s. Ben grew up in Chicago and later moved to Arkansas to attend the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He never lost sight of his love for his hometown pizza. Later after graduating, he created the recipes and began developing Gusano’s Chicago-Style Pizzeria. Ben worked in the restaurant doing everything from cooking to bartending and bussing tables in order to make the store successful. Within a few short years, he and his partners were able to make each store flourish. Now, Gusano’s has seven locations spanning four States.
